Generally yes, I can. It would depend on several factors, such as the availability of materials and any other non-moveable work I already have scheduled. But I will always do my best to work with your time frame or budget. If you are flexible with the materials and design then this can definitely help with time and budget limitations
I'd love to have a calligraphy workshop for my group of friends for a special occasion. Can we personalise the projects we work on?
Yes, definitely! The first part of any beginners class would be the basics of calligraphy, but after that we can work on any project you might have in mind. Let me know what you'd like to do and we can discuss if it is a suitable project for the level of your participants.
I really want to learn calligraphy, but I have terrible handwriting... is it worth it?
This is probably the question I hear the most and I can confirm that it is most definitely worth it! Calligraphy isn't 'just' handwriting, it is more closely linked to something like art. It is a series of shapes and strokes combined to make letter forms. Once you have those shapes down, then you can create some beautiful work. It is a very mindful process that is a great skill or hobby to wind down with too.
